Rescue
With this course you will become a much more careful diver, not only for your safety but also for other divers’ one. It is the first course that approaches to the professional domain of scuba diving and it is a prerequisite if you want to start your career as a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor.
Who can participate (minimum):
12-14 years old for Junior Rescue Diver; 15 years for Rescue Diver.
Prerequisites:
being 12 years old; possession of Advance certification and EFR Primary and Secondary Care formation (or equivalent) in the last 24 months.
Course objectives:
facing and solving some diving eventualities; handle the rescue and emergencies; recognize and rescue panicked or unconscious divers .
What we’ll do:
after reviewing the self-rescue, we will dedicate to exercises that allow us to help a tired or in panic diver in the surface and underwater; you will learn the method to find a missing diver, to bring back an unconscious diver on the surface and do an effective artificial respiration in water. All the techniques and the basics that you need will be given in class; included in the price you'll receive the manual where you can deepen the topics dealt with in class, unless you choose the version of the online course.
Equipment:
included in the course price you will be provided with ballast and bottle. Remember to bring your personal equipment, otherwise you can rent it by us.
