Advanced Open Water Diver
Once you learn the basics of scuba diving, you can examine topics and types of dives that interest you most. You will complete 5 adventure dives, two of which are deep and underwater dives; you will chose the other 3 dives with your instructor. You can easily combine this course with your diving holiday in Ustica, as you will immediately pass from theory to practice.
Who can participate (minimum age):
12 years for Junior Advance and 15 years for Advance.
Course objectives:
knowing different types of diving; gain greater autonomy and security in water.
Duration:
5 theory lessons and 5 dives.
What we’ll do:
ADV course is purely practical but there will obviously be some theory lessons where you will be introduced to the different types of dives: deep dive and navigation are required for the achievement of the course. You will learn to use a compass and know how to deal with a deep dive; then you will choose 3 more adventure dives to explore with your instructor.
Theory lessons will take place in part directly in rubber dinghy and partly on land (unless you choose the version of the online course) with supplementary tools: you will be given a manual where you can study and analyse the concepts elaborated in class.
Equipment:
included in the course price you will be provided with ballast, bottle, compass and torch. Remember to bring your personal equipment, otherwise you can rent it by us.
